Meet the Team
Deon’s passion for sales and property gave him the opportunity to enter the Hospitality Market as part of the Village n Life Group. Deon was instrumental in the design and development of De Waterkant Cape Town, a world-renowned destination for tourists.
Deon acted as chair of De Waterkant Civic Association, the driving force behind establishing the first Residential City Improvement District in Cape Town. He was instrumental in the design and development of the Cape Cadogan Boutique Hotel and surrounding cottages. This also included the rejuvenation and development of previously run-down areas in Kloof street, Cape Town.
He is currently still involved with numerous Body Corporates and Boards of CID (City Improvements Districts Cape Town).
Jaco Claassens started his career as an attorney practicing as a director in the firm Rorich, Wolmarans & Luderitz Inc.
He received the degrees B.Iuris and B.Proc from the University of Pretoria, and an MBA from the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg. He was admitted as an Attorney, Conveyancer and Notary during June 1985.
Jaco is an entrepreneur who has made many successful investments into companies operating in different industries, including investments into the ICT, Mining and Exploration and Property Development industry.
His hobbies are sailing and travelling.
Jaco Claassens holds a South African passport and a residence permit for Canada.
John started his trade in the Civil Engineering Consultancy field tackling large infrastructure projects as well as detailed design.
John is a people’s person that enjoys building firm and trusting relationships. He has gained experience in project planning, budgeting and management which help keep him in tune with the needs of his clients.
John is driven and always strives for continuous improvement, self and otherwise. He possesses a keen eye for problem identification prior to the issue arising. John loves nature which he uses to keep a strong grounding to sustainability both economically and environmentally. With John’s experience and attributes, he is an integral part of our team.
John received his B. Eng. (Civil) degree from the University of Pretoria and is a member of the South African Institute of Civil Engineering
Meghann’s experience in marketing and account management spans over 7 years. She has exceptional organisational skills. Managing client budgets, creating concepts & activations and seeing a project through to the end is her specialty. Knowledge of client profiles and expectations drives Meghann to assist in sales, market reach and acquired results for her clients. She is experienced in the event industry in an account management role and strives to save her clients money whilst investing their brands in the most beneficial markets.
Stephan has over 32 years’ experience at executive level across retail, manufacturing and financial sectors.
Stephan is a hands-on, decisive and results-driven individual with sound planning and organisational capabilities. He possesses exceptional financial and technical skills and has substantial experience in commercial operations and strategic planning which, combined with his knowledge of the financial and retail environment in Southern Africa, is beneficial to our clients.
Stephan earned a B. Comm (Acc.) from Stellenbosch University and also completed the Management Development Programme at the Stellenbosch Graduate School of Business. He is a practicing member of the South African Institute for Professional Accountants.
